August Heavenly Handbags Give

Welcome to Heavenly Handbags!  Our desire as an organization is to empower underserved women though one-for-one giving.  In creating this ministry back in August, Heavenly Handbags donated ten (10) handbags stuffed with life essentials to the VOA homeless women’s shelter and the VOA women’s safe house located in Durango, Colorado.  The stuffed handbags were warmly received by the Director, Sarada Leavenworth.  Each handbag was distributed by the staff to a woman in need.  The feedback we have received from the staff has been very encouraging.

We have given them (Heavenly Handbags) to women at both the Safe House and Community Shelter, and at both places they have been such a joy!

It was the kind donations of twelve (12) women within the community who made the August Heavenly Handbags Give possible.  These women simply partnered with Heavenly Handbags and donated travel sized items, life essentials, to help stuff a handbag.  Other women donated gifts certificates and handmade jewelry to stuff inside the handbags.  Their efforts impacted underserved women who needed encouragement.

I hope you will consider partnering with Heavenly Handbags in the future to help make this ministry a wild success.  We hope that this outreach give underserved women joy.
